2004 Mustang GT - Automatic - 36K miles
My wife leaves this morning and the car starts fine, makes two stops and on the second stop the car does nothing. Calls me, I go over and get in the car and hear a very fast ticking noise coming from the car.
I try to start the car and turning the key does nothing. I hook up the jumper cables and immediately when I hook it up to my battery the mustang horn starts going off repeatedly.
A few clicks of the unlock button on the stock keychain and it cuts off.
When I try to crank the mustang when hooked up with jumper cables, the gauges do a full sweep, the car acts it like it wants to start for about a half second, and the horn starts going off repeatedly.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
