When I first joined here I asked if anyone knew how to get my sunroof going again and no one knew. I was wondering if maybe something is wrong in wiring somewhere because my reverse lights dont work, fog lights don't work and passenger side will wrk both ways from drivers control, but will only roll down and not back up from passenger's control.
It is a 94 GT. Maybe they are on the same circuit or fuse ? There is nothing I know of wired except a monster tach. Thanks in advance

my understanding is sn95's did not come with a sunroof from the factory i would check your fuses first than bulbs check to see if powers going to the lights if you need a wiring diagram let me know what you need

Ive checked all fuses. The sunroof dont even make a sound. Would that be sign of motor, or just no power getting to it? Or either? I dont know why I didnt check bulbs today while I was pulling fuses, guess I was more worried about the sunroof lol. Ive got a Haynes manual, but I dont understand how to read the diagrams. Also what about relays? And How do u know if they are bad?

ive been told these mustangs had wiring issues. but reading wiring diagrams is easy you can usually find what each symbol means in the haynes book. bk usually stands for ground r/w red white etc.. i would check for power to your sunroof its possible the motor is bad sunroof motors go bad often. relay wise easiest way is to swap the suspected bad relay with a known good one. also you should own a multimeter

Pull the sunroofs switch to see if there is power before and/or after the switch that will tell you if the problem is in the dash or the SR motor.

usually an aftermarket SR will leak like crazy after a few years. :notnice:
