I have a 95 GT 5spd...

I have the 240 amp(Yes 240amp) PA Automotive alternator.
Did the Big 3 upgrade. With 4guage wire.
Optima Yellow Top battery.

CDT Audio 6 1/2 components in the front.
CDT 6x9 Components in the back.

Elemental Design
Model Name : NINe.2 Amplifier
RMS Power @ 12.5v : 2 x 100W @ 4 Ohm, 2 x 200W @ 2 Ohm

One for the front speakers and one for the rear.

0 Guage from the battery to my distribution block. split to 4 guage to the amps.

Amps are grounded to the hole right next to the gas funnel thing in the trunk(4 guage).

When I turn the music up to a certain poin(less than 50%) My battery voltage goes DOWN between the N and O in NORMAL...

Even if Im driving down the road the battery guage will be normal but once i turn up the radio to a certain point it will stay up but it will fluncuate and all the lights will start going crazy like a lightshow until I turn it down.

I dont know what it could be.

I did have headlight dimming before I did the battery even with he 3G and new alternator.. but that is gone since I put in the Optima.

The amp draw looks relatively insignificant to me.

Have you checked actual voltage? The stock gauge isnt great for diagnostics.

When it acts up: I'd want to check a voltage drop between the alt and PDC (if using only one charge cable, you need more than 4 AWG for a 240 amp alt). Do the same at the PDC vs the amp power cable input.

Lastly, be sure the nut on the PDC is tight. That's arguably the most important connection on the car.

Good luck.

The first image is what happens when I turn it up the volume about 19 out of 35...
Then the speakers sound like they are mudded and sounds faded.

The second is normal...

Also when I start the car first thing in the morning the car voltage is at the A mark.
