My battery keeps draining. I replaced the alternator and the battery still drained. Checked with a voltmeter and it was putting out around 10 V. Went to replace it, the parts guy checked it and said I was right, and ordered a replacement. Replacement came in and it was broken. At this point I raised a fuss. Replacement number three:
When I got the replacement today he said he checked 'em both and they were both good. So I think the guy said that to be a dick but if he's right then I still have a problem.
If the battery is new, the alternator works, but the battery keeps draining what could be the problem?
