engine block difference?

is there any difference between a truck 302 block or a mustang 302 block...i heard somewhere the height is different...im talking just the bare block any help would be cool thanks

302 truck = 302 Mustang

Blocks are the same if you are comparing similar years.
What years are you looking at?

i have an 88 2.3 that im doing a v8 swap too im gonna completely rebuild the motor so all i need is a block that will fit and i was gonna go to a bone yard or scoop one up off ebay...i also found a complete motor from a 94-95 will that work as well in my 88?

Yes it would. But you cant reuse a few items. Unless you simply want to use the 94-95 accessories
