I asked a while back for help, and a few people did but I never got a response from them
... if someone would care to spare a few minutes to offer some suggestions, that would be nice.
My situation is that I'm probably going to end up building the 347 stroker out of a new block, which will let me work on my new '92 Mustang GT (yay for me) lol. and drive it around while I build the block on the side. As some of you know, I don't mind putting in the $$$, and partially because I need to prove to my uncle (whos got a '67 stang w/ a 351) and my friend (whos got a 350 sb trans am] that I can own them heh. This car will NOT be a daily driver, pretty much weekend only vehicle.
The only concern I have is the exhaust on this vehicle, the only restriction I'd like to have is having cats, other than that I have ways of tuning up the emissions.
The motor is going to be on a brand new block as I've said, and it will not have force induction.. initially. I will add that later on in the form of a supercharge or turbo, whichever I like better. I do plan on going on a custom camshaft, stroker kit (forged crank, pistons, rods, etc), and obviously bore/stroke it to 347. The setup looks somewhat like this:
Block: Aftermarket Dart or Sportsman Block
Heads: AFR 205's (I was told 225's are pointless, unless I'm wrong).
Intake Manifold: Edelbrock, Holley, Trickflow (not sure which)
Camshaft: FTI more than likely
Fuel Injector: What size would be good?
Fuel Pump: 255 lph?
MAF: What size?
Headers: Long Tube probably (Not sure yet, does Bassani make headers?)
Unless I'm mistaken, these are probably the most major components for building the 347 I think. I'm probably missing something however.
