My engine light is on but I have MIL eliminators. They are installed right. I ran my diablo tune and said it was running lean. I have a O/R X pipe. But i thought the MIL eliminators would take care of that problem. Any suggestions. Thanks.

A lean condition has nothing to do with your rear o2's > which is what your mil eliminators should be hooked to >your rear o2's only tell you when you cats aren't working right .
your car running lean might be it learning the new exhaust or a lose air pump feed line or a intake gasket leak > just erase it and see if it comes back.

If your running lean, you have a few possibilities.

A: you have a vac leak allowing unmetered air into the engine
B: you have an exhaust leak BEFORE the front o2's.
C: Your tune is off.
D: You have a bad front o2

Do you have any codes?

The codes were
P0605
P1211
P1690
The diablo said it was running lean.

P0605
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) - P0605 ENGINE CONTROL MODULE NMVY WRITE ERROR
SUMMARY OF THE STEPS TO BE TAKEN

You need to plug your computer into an actual scan tool that can check it (if the diablo can't do it)

P1211 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Above / Below Desired
Check your sensor on the rail. Odds are its bad.

P1690 Wastegate Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
I have no idea..... I can't find good info and have no clue where to point you.

Ok first thing you need to do is tell us what year your car is..

I grabbed the PC/ED for a 2001 mustang since I have no info to go on and two of the codes are not listed

The PC/ED is the diag manual we use at the dealers so it's the most accurate code descriptions

the only code that I could find without knowing even basic info on your car is the p0605 that is a pcm ROM error.. improper programming or a bad PCM can cause this.

But we need more info to help and you might need a real scan tool

None of those codes your listed are lean codes. I would go get the car scanned and find out what the actual codes are, make sure that the codes you pulled are the same codes that a scanner will pull. The newer 4.6s are not known to have intake gasket problems, but anything is possible. I would have to agree with the above post, that if you actually have a lean code, you either have a vacuum leak, or an exhaust leak, before the upstream o2. I just pulled a code on my car with the IDS, had a p0133, Ho2s11 switching slow, pulled up the pid for that and Ho2s12, turns out I have a lazy o2.

yeah a bad o2 will rarely cause a lean condition since it is unlikely both front 02's will go at the same time.

A lazy 02 is your problem.

A true lean condition p0171,p0174 is most likely a vacuum leak

code help

im like the others..lost on codes..are you sure you checked them right?

605 is all i came across..

P0605 - PCM Read Only Memory (ROM) error
The PCM ROM has been corrupted
. An attempt was made to change the calibration
Module programming error
Physically damaged PCM
Reprogram or update calibration
Reprogram VID block (use as built data)
Check for other DTC's or drive symptoms for further action

code pintest,,says see note #10

Note 10: Be sure to check for aftermarket performance products before replacing PCM. For Electronic Throttle Control vehicles, P0606 may be set with other DTCS indicating a specific failure in that system, and repairing those DTCS will fix the P0606. (Follow Section 4 direction for DTCS) For diagnosing P0606 alone, an internal fault in the PCM is indicated, and the PCM should replaced. For replacement, refer to Section 2, Flash Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) .

Pretty much my point. The code doesn't fit the car or symptoms..... So yea.

+1 on taking it in for actual diagnostics... If its REALLY throwing those codes then your puter is crazy.

Thanks for the help. I have a 2004 Mustang GT. I am getting an actual code scanner tomorrow to make sure the codes are right. I have no idea why the diablo pulled up a wastegate code
