I just replaced my spark plug wires with some FRPP 9mm and replaced the cap and rotor as well. I started the car and its got this akward shake and just a couple of moments after running I begin to hear what sounds like knocking coming from the cylinders. I checked to make sure all the boots were in properly and made sure the coil wire was also making good contact. I made sure everything was on right several times and still nothing. I also made sure each plug had its corresponding wire and correct position on the distributor. Do I have to readjust the timing? It sounds like its misfiring. Right now the timing is set at 12 degrees and had no problems with it prior to the wire upgrade. BTW the old ones were 8mm if that helps. Has this happened to anyone before? Thanks fellas

Crossed 5 and 6 on the distributor Why they put those two so close together?, Ill never know. Anyway, the code I was getting about the oxygen sensors is gone so that fixed that. My stang is running like a champ now and I can finally enjoy my gears. But no one will ever know cuz this thread never existed.
