hey guys,
I pulled the engine in january to put a lil better engine in it. When i pulled it i left the oil in it and kept it pretty much sealed up except for the intake, and i took rockers off so all valves were closed. ( incase of critters wanting to make a home in it) covered with plastic in the corner of my garage. i since sold the better engine so i decided to put it back in. When i put it back in, i torqued the rockers to 25ft pounds, about 10 to 15 seconds after starting it it starts to knock loudly from what sounds like near the intake on driver side. I did change oil before starting it. ran it without valve covers to make sure oil was coming from each push rod. it has 50 psi at idle with after market gague. could it make a difference if i might have mixed up an intake and exaust rocker?, by the way are stock. any help would be grateful
thanks
