engine shakes at idle

ok guys finally got my car retuned and it runs great with no check engine lights but now when the car is idleing the engine shakes like its missing sometimes so hard it makes my jlt intake hit the fender ... wth ... is going on i just want my stang to run right ughhhh any suggestions ???

If you cammed your car you are definatly going to see/feel it shaking. You could get urethane or solid motor mounts, maybe that would keep it under control a bit better?

Harder mounts will make the feeling worse. Soft and squishy mounts will transmit less engine NVH to the chassis.

I'd never go solid mounts on a street car.

ok thanks guys but i know the that cams shake the engine but they are only stage 1 cams and i know the difference between a cam shake and a shutter idle ... i have never seen a cammed car shake and so hard and fast where it rattles the whole car and slams the intake into the fender but thanks for the info ...

sorry guys dont mean to sound like an ass im just frustrated bad i have spent to much to have these issuses now my tuner is telling me my pcm is dumping the tunes because the pcm is going bad ....

its cool man weve all been in frustration land..

technically my stage II's are stage 1.5's and mine shakes quite a bit..sometimes its a mellow shake and other times my headers are banging around

i really dont think your pcm is going bad...but maybe you just have that kind of luck

anyone know how to check the pcm to make sure its ba??? and also i datalogged some stuff at lunch and i noticed the long fuel trim on one bank is around 780 and the other bank is 820 but the short fuel trim is about equal

so my tuner calls me and asked me if i knew if the ppl who put my cams in degreed them and used new cam bolts so i call them and they tell me no we didnt degree them and the cam bolts are resuable ..... im like are u kidding me .... could this be my issue this whole time ????
