I'm hearing rumors that Englishtown Raceway in NJ, a major drag strip landmark since 1965, is being sold to housing developers. I've also heard the remaining owners of the historic track are fighting over the money.
Is this true? Has anyone else on here heard about this?? I'm PRAYING this is just a false rumor. It would be a huge loss to the surrounding community to lose such a popular drag strip, not to mention the potential loss of life from the inevitable increase in illegal street racing.
