I would go with Unequals, the reason being because you won't have to buy new spark plug wires so they won't burn. They are also easier to install.

They're suppose to provide a little more power. Not anything that would be worth the hassle though. I'm with everyone else...unequals are the way to go. (If you want shortys)

yea i never understood how they would make more power if the tubes are longer rather than shorter like the unequal.

Yea the equals will make more power.

This particular dyno book i have had some interesting results. The equals made less Peak hp then the unequals, but the equals picked up Hp across the whole midrange. The longtubes made 11hp more peak hp then the unequals. This was on a h/c/i 302 on an engine dyno, i can scan the page if anyone is interested.

tsw, if your looking for an inexpensive set of shorties (unequals), Pm me.

If you are going to do headers, then do LT's IMO. The hassle of installing headers will be alleviated by the power you gain w/ LT's. And you can get them for pretty cheap.

Brothers Performance sells the chrome ones for $279.99
Ebay - Mac Brand new - $227.99

because the pressures are different in the tubes of unequals. The flow in the equals is the same in each tube, so there is no "back pressure" or flow hindurances.

The one or two ponies gained is not worth the hassel.. GO unequals

For Long Tubes you do. Even if you wanted to all you hace to do is unbolt the steering shaft.
