I have a photo shoot scheduled for this weekend. I have the opportunity to run a manufacturers logo windshield banner across the top 5" x 18.5" in exchange for some brand new CNC ported heads for my anemic 2v ( about 1500.00)

So now that you know my rate for sleeping w/ a MFG.....Am I an Escort, A Call girl, or a desperate Crack Whore?

  • Sponsors (?)

I should have the banner later this afternoon. I'll stick it on and post the pic. Right now I'm waiting on a call back from MM&FF to be sure we're still even on for the shoot. So I'll wait until I hear from him, as no pics = no sponsor.

I'd do it as well but to answer your question, you're a crack whore.

You're addicted to the upgrades. :nonono:

It's ok though... it's a disease and not a choice. My guess is that you didn't even stop to consider the offer but just accepted.

Self identification is the first step.

If you stand behind the products the manufacturer has on the market enough to run them on your car, then that's reason enough to advertise for them and accept their offer. That being said, you're a dirty, filthy whore. :D

There is no shame in sponsor ship. If it will make your unique ride even better then go for it. razor blades can remove decals easily from glass, as long as it's not on a painted surface your fine.

BTW, whore it up, I would!

Whore. Sellout.:notnice:

BTW, I need a TKO 600....Slap a Tremec sticker on there and sell it to me at a cut rate while you're at it!:D

Mike, thats totally wrong. You should be like everyone else and paste stickers on your car to show that you don't need the money, parts or a paint job. Theres a certain liberating feeling knowing that you are advertising for a company, but you don't need their help to pay for their products. Don't even get me started on the intimidation factor. Theres just something scary about a guy that will cover a 5k paint job with stickers, just to show you what he has (or might have one day) under the hood. Thats right, screw the man and intimidate others. So tell them you are way to manly to take free stuff and all you want is a sticker pack from their company and any other company they associate with. Stay strong.....and let me know how the heads work out....lol.

BTW-

Mike, congrats on the photo shoot and the sponsorship on the heads, man. They are both well deserved. When I saw the pics of the metalwork before the primer even hit the car, I knew it was going to wind up in a magazine. Well done!

There are a lot of people (ricers mainly) that cover their cars with stickers and they aren't getting a single dime from the companies that they are advertising for. In fact, they paid for the stickers.

I should call Dart, AFR, and Hellion and see if they want to put me together a 408 turbo package and they can cover my car.

90lxcoupe Nope i would jump all over that one!

I Jumped.

NikwoaC Yea, I'd be all over it. If anybody calls you a sellout, ask them how much their heads cost.

Might I ask who is the manufacturer?

Patriot Performance Stage III

StreetsideStig Oh, I would totally do it. Especially if I respected the manufacturer.

I even Know the MFG personally.

Noobz347 I'd do it as well but to answer your question, you're a crack whore.
