We had a great time on our first official cruise. We met on W. 11th in Eugene, and actually drew several mustang owners in off the street We had our best turnout so far.
We left right at noon: We stayed in formation, rarely getting over the posted speed limit.
About halfway to Florence we stopped for a photo op near Clay Creek. Then we headed to Florence, for a bite at Bliss' Hot Rod Cafe. The Hot Rod Cafe is really cool, they have a bunch of cars sticking out the roof of the building, lots of pictures of hot rods on the walls, and a couple old cars inside that have been converted into dining booths.
After the Hot Rod Cafe we hit Old Town Florence for a little walk-about before heading back home.
It was fun, and the rain only dropped a few isolated drops now and then. It never really did rain on us. Good times!
