well when i was screwing around with my friends 05 STI we did a 10-to whatever he went up to but i stuck at his back bumper until we hit 75 and then he started to inch away...but he has beaten evos but im not sure which models...He beat some evo that had the license plate of DRIFTRX...how sad...i wonder if he knew he had an awd car.

I've seen little old ladies drift in front wheel drive cars...snow. Ha ha.

I think it'll be a close race. A friend of mine has an EVO (2004 I believe) and I think he will win without even really breaking a sweat. Rolling on or not, I think with the boost will be the winner if he knows how to drive it. That's what warranties are for!

Good luck Guero whatever happens... keep us posted.

If you are thinking about the evo in the new fast and the furious...they converted that car to RWD for the movie.

on the subject of AWD drifting....

It can be done...but requires more understanding of your awd system.

When it comes to drifting awd speed is your friend...at least from what I understand. I've heard of people "tricking" their computers while in a turn to apply more power to certain tires.

a whole lot more involved than rwd

I am wondering how limited the transmissions are on those cars? Sure they can spike up the HP wit hthe turn of a wrench on those turbos but I am guessing the trans is a weak point like on our cars...Anyone know?

VERY capable cars, but yea... their transmission and transfercase are the weak link.

As for all wheel drive drifting... its called Rally, the only form of drifting thats actually "racing".
