How do I get the EGR Vacuum Regulator adjusted correctly? I was getting code 33 (EGR not opening properly), so I finally messed with the EVR and turned that screw inside of it. I turned it almost all the way in and the car idled rough (it was huffing like a supercharged car). So, I turned it back and it would keep doing it and then a little more turn back and it just quit. When you turn that screw in, it increases the vacuum pressure to the EGR, when you turn it back it decreases vacuum. So, I got it to where the idle just sounded good and I got a code 34 stating that the settings on the EVR are wrong. So, how do I adjust it to spec?
