Exhaust Leak...Idle Problems, CE lights?

Can an exhaust leak at the header flange cause CE lights and a sometimes stumbling idle? I usually only get this when my car warms up. I also hear the telltale clicking noise of the leak.

i had the same problem for three month. i just fix it. i had i headers leak from both sides and my idle was crazy!! i bought a nice set of gaskets and install them. the idle was better than before. i replace one of the oxegen sensors and the idle is perfect now

yeah...definately get it fixed. it is horrible for the valves to have an exhaust leak up that high too. i was losing a good 40hp (it honestly felt like that) with my exhaust leak. it woudl throw lean codes all the time because more oxygen was being sucked into where only exhaust should be going. it was a great excuse for me to put on LT's

Yeah, and you only get the CEL light when the car warms up because the O2 sensors are ignored until the car is at operating temperatures. GET IT FIXED!
