Hey all, was wondering if anyone knew how i could go bout finding an exhaust leak, not sure if its coming from the headers or not. its really loud at startup and as the car warms it goes away or get quieter. When your at FOT you can hear it really bad. Or any shop good at pinpointing them?

well to check a header leak, just take a look down there and see what u can see. the easier way to check is just get under the car while its on a lift (if u have access to one) and just check every connection. you could get lucky if you are leaking between your hpipe and cat back!

Find a stethescope, it will pinpoint any leaks easily. Remove the tip, use just the rubber tube portion.

Or, if you don't have a stethoscope, just get a 3-foot length of vacuum line. Stick one end in your ear and move the other end around where you think the leak might be. You'll know it when you find it.
