Is there anyway to tell if you have an exhaust leak?

Is it like a rattling noise or a air wooshing noise?

When climbing a hill throw it into a gear that's too low? like if youre going 30 up a hill throw it into 4th, and gas it a little. You'll hear a whoosh or ticking noise.

It will be a "piffing" or light "tapping" noise. You should be able to recognize it. It's almost like pinging sounds, but it's outside the engine bay. Hope that helps!
