I never even paid attention to the brands I was thinking just of systems I would have said that I told someone that yesterday. If you use MAC, it all has got to be MAC, Yes, good point. My Car has l/t's,h pipe with unhooked cats, flows and LX style tips. I gonna get 3" tips. How about other brands do they mix? How did 88stangmangt do it?

Mac products must have either a unique flange connections
or the lengths of various pieces no work with other products,
if you had the resources I bet you could cut out and fab in parts
with all the material and welder but generally speaking they do not.

Well, if they're anything like the stock pipes, you wont really be able to see them anyway, so they might as well be bright green with Neons... it doesnt really matter. The sound is what counts... And also the headers would be chrome, so they would spice up the engine compartment a little.

Are you putting your tailpipes through the bumperskirt? I can see
mine a lot from the side if you look for them and if you don't lol
Maybe the back bumperskirts are alot different But like I said.
You would notice lime green fart cannons on mine in other
words.Absolutely.........yah LX style must be different than your GT

I will be adding BBK 1 5/8 longtubes and a BBK h-pipe (catted) soon to my flowmasters. I can't wait till I get the money. But i'm gonna go for the MM chassis brace kit first.

To those running BBK LT's, how low do they hang on your car? My car has the eibach drag launch springs on it, so i think it's only lowered about 1 inch, but my x-pipe scrapes on speed bumps and driveways with 1 or more passengers. Will I have even more problems with scraping with the LTs, or will it be fine on a close to stock heighth stang?

Sounds like my setup,

BBK 1 5/8ths longtubes - BBK 2.5" H pipe - 2 chamber (deltaflow) Flowmasters dumped. I like it, it has a really unique grunt to it. X pipes might scream but H pipes bark, at least through my setup.

Nobody said anything about cat-backs not fitting right, we were talking about long tube headers to h-pipes. BBK long tube headers fit BBK h-pipes and Mac long tube headers fit Mac h-pipes. They are not like shorty headers that fit anything on the market.

due to unfortunate financial circumstances, Im going to have to put the exhaust package off, probably until the summer when Im out of school and I can really start piling some cash up... I want to do exhaust, subframe connectors, underdrive pulleys, some gears, a pro-5.0 shifter, electric fan, some bodywork and rims sometime in the next couple of years. Im probably gunna do subframes, shifter, and exhaust first tho... I really need to find a better job :S
