It all started a couple days ago..when i would accelerate i would hear almost kind of a rattling noise coming from the exhuast it would go away but after a while come back...then it started today to where it would not go away i checked if it was any lose bolts or somethin i can fix..but it sounds like somethin is rattling inside the flowmaster muffer...idk how long it takes for flowmasters to go bad but i think that could be it..its making the car sound horrible..i just need conformation on this before i go spending money i dont need to spend..
Thanks!!

is the muffler clamped on? when i messed with my exhaust i had that problem, the clamp loosened and rattled, it felt tight to me, and the bolts seemed tight, but i guess there was just enough space between the pipes to cause an annoying loud rattle during acceleration and sometimes at idle. really embarassing at the drive-thru window when it echos off the building and sounds 5 times louder! if thats the case, you could try removing the clamp and re-tightening it because it simply might have came just loose enough to annoy you. just saying i have never heard of flows burning out like that, only getting a crappier sound.
