I am swapping a 2001 4.6 2v into my 1996 and I purchased a used set of BBK Long Tube headers and am planning on matching it up with a VRS X-Pipe, on their website it says that there is a 1996-98 BBK Longtube X-Pipe and a 1999-04 BBK Longtube X-Pipe, am I correct in guessing that I need the 1996-98 x-pipe because even if the headers might be off a new edge it is going into a 1996? Any help is appreciated.
