Ok, this is not the typical "what will it sound like" thread regarding exhaust.

I am planning on putting a NA 347 stroker in my coupe sometime next year.

I want to put longtubes on my coupe, and only want to do the exhaust once.

I am planning on a set of ceramic BBK 1.75" Longtube headers, 2.5" OR H pipe, and a flowmaster American Thunder catback.

Will that set up be 'ok' with my mostly stock engine now, and will it be good enough when I put in a 347 in about a year? I expect to lose a little something in torque now, but don't want 1 5/8" LT's to be a restriction in the future.

1 3/4" is perfect for the n/a street car 347 your planning. Its a bit big for now, but it should hurt all that much seeing you have 410's. I"m planning on the same thing soon and using the same header. Kinda pricey though new.

What combo you planning?
