I had a dodge guy tell me I could take my last two o2 sensors out to make my check engine go off from my offroad exhaust. I have mil eliminators on them, but the check engine still came on. But he just said take the last two out and pug them up with something and strap the o2 up under the car. He said the 02 sensor will read clean air and wont throw a check engine. Does anyone know about this?

Personally I have never heard anything like that before from a mechanic. It seems odd that your CEL is still on if you used the MIL eliminators . Did you happen to turn the battery on or start the car before they were connected and the O2 sensors were unplugged??
