Just lookin for some exhaust opinions. Got a 98 GT w/MAC cold air, right now I'm split between a MAC and an SLP. Same price but I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to run a 3" MAC system on a basically stock engine, I've heard SLP's and they sound nice but a 3" system from the cats must sound mean..... One other ques, I have eibach lowering springs I havent put on yet do I need new struts/shocks or can I put them on w/the stock ones.....thanks 4 the help guys...

what kinda springs did you get i would say if its the pro-kit you dont really need new sprigns and with the sportlines you will. it also depends on how many miles you have. also are you just talking about cat-back. i would say you dont need a 3in exhaust unless you go blown and even at the its still alittle much. get the slp or do bassani. mac is aight but they rust and youll change them again in a couple years. bassani and slp wont rust at all.

You found a MAC and SLP that are the same price? If so, my vote is SLP.

The SLP loudmouth was a little loud for me, so I got the SLP loudmouth II. Haven't installed it yet, but it's supposed to sound a little throatier. Same thing with me as far as the Eibachs go. I have the Eibach pro-kit, and a local speed shop told me that they will fit fine with the factory struts and shocks.
