ok so i finally have gt mufflers for my v6...im going to do a x-pipe conversion...

but i dont know what to ask the muffler shop man...since im a novice guy at this..what should i ask for?

also, how can i work around the back bumber only having 1 slot? will it affect the muff if i leave the other slot uncut?

Here's a template for cutting your bumper, use a dremel with a 1/4 cutting bit to get it close and then a 1" sanding wheel to get it perfect.

When you print out this
template, DO NOT USE the
“Scale to fit“ option

Sorry, I can't help with the "X" pipe, I had real duals put on mine, just one pipe on each side, no X or H.

Yeah, I cut mine out. Not to hard, just get a good grip with both hands and cut leaving your mark then sand out to the line.

cool, did you mess up on the paint or anything? or did you get it painted shortly after?

Didn't effect the paint at all. Posted a video link for you above. can't find one of someone actually cutting one though. You can see it really is just a small piece you cut out. It is thin and soft and cuts pretty easy.

lol..he actually used the pipe lining thing as his guide, not the 13" plate one...ill look into that...and ill make a video too as im cutting it...thanks again man..ill show pix and a vid once i get this done...

oh and one more question...do i do this before i get the muff on or after?

Do it Before or your muffler will push up on it and melt it. It needs about 1/4" clearance.
