Any body else have this problem??? Any suggestions to fix the problem??? The exhuast place i went to today was tryin to rip me off tellin me they wanna put new bolts in the manifold etc etc, then if that dont work cut off 1ft of the H pipe, and weld in there own crap and bolt it to the manifold usin 2 1/4 pipeing Please help ASAP

When I had my stock manifolds on i had to put new studs in because the stock studs have spacers on them that kept me from being able to tighten the bolts enough to create a seal. I think i bought the studs from either Napa or autozone can't remember. Kinda of a pain to get them out. I just used some vicegrips and turned the hell out of them till they came out only on diverside though

i have had my h-pipe on for a year now and has been leaking since day one. I have replaced the studs and that will work for a few days but then they will work loose and you will have to keep re tightening them. Just get used to the leak because i have had every exhaust shop in my area try to fix and it seems almost impossible unless you just get it welded.

I cut the spacer off and haven't had a leak. leave everything else a little loose until you get a good seal to the manifolds, then line everyhthing up and tighten .

That's weird, 'cuz I have the Mac Performance Products Off-Road H-Pipe (HTS Coated) and have a leak on the passenger's side. Anyone have thoughts on that?

replace the studs , take the gasket if a paper type to a parts store and get one matched up that will cover the entire flange that is made of a metal type material unless your pipe came with a metal type gasket , alot of companies send thick paper ones that seal great but wont hold much pressure , use hardened studs , lock washers , blue loctite and brass nuts . Also , tighten up the passenger side last

Header bolts

Your pipe wont snug down because of the factory header bolts. Remove the factory header bolts using the "two nut removal method". Then replace bolts with NAPA part #600-1819 manifold bolts.

Fixed!!!
