Hi Folks

Hope ya'll have had some fun and time to kick back over the h days

I remembered the little stocker stang dyno curve I found on another site

It occured to me I could use it to help some see the differences .....

In a stock stang
and
One which had its powerband extended with typical hot rod parts

Notice on the stocker the power falls at 4400 rpm

Notice on the hci combo the power holds until 5800 rpm

In the past, we've talked about how steep gears act so differently :Word:
in combos such as these two examples

A lot of the time ... You see a fellow with a stocker and t5 trans say ......
"My first gear is too quick with these gears"

Well ... It is my hope here

This info will give a visual perspective of how 1400 more rpm
can make such a big difference

btw ... Do these charts I post up here

Well ... Does anybody get any benefit from them
or
Is it just ... mumbo jumbo for everybody

As always
