Exterior trim: Black or Gray?

On my 1986 Mustang GT, was the exterior trim (hood cowl grill, vents behind side windows, body moldings....) black or gray from the factory? Currently all the trim is faded light gray in color. I just want to know so I can repaint them the correct color.

They list exterior colors, but not exterior "trim" colors. Am I missing something?

actually they were bumper grey i owned my first mustang off the showroom floor

when i got them repainted they were bumper grey same as stock
