Just curious, does anyone know what the factory fill oil is for the 2010 Mustang GT?

I'm not sure on the question but if you're asking how much oil the car takes it ought to be 6 quarts like the current car because the engine is the same.

I would assume synthetic, but I was taught to never assume.

I was actually referring to the brand and type of oil that comes in the engine from the factory.

I've heard from other sources that it is Formula Shell 5W-20 conventional (Ford has an oil contract with them), but I just wanted to confirm that.

Oh ok. Well I'd have to guess Motorcraft synthetic blend. That's a guess though.
