Factory stereo speaker cuts off sometimes

Hey guys, I have a slight problem sometimes with the my front driver side speaker. Sometimes it just cuts off in the middle of a song then it'll cut back on later on. Does this mean I have to replace the speaker or perhaps is there just something lose?
