Falling Window!

That's what I get for putting it off. Driver's power window would work intermittantly and today my fox decided that window was gonna stay down finally got it to go up. Gonna replace the motor for the window tomorrow, but the passenger side window acts like it's wanting to fall part of the way down when its rolled down as well. Is it time to just replace both motors or could it be a matter of lubrication on that side? That side always works just acts like its wanting to drop part of the way down

Did you just wait for the motor to work again and come back up?

Usually the motors get a little crazy towards the end of their life... choosing when to work and when not to work.

Mine stopped completely.. and the window was down at the time. So I took the door panel off.. took out the motor.. pushed the winow up manually.. and put the motor back in so the window woulndnt fall back down.. and wouldnt u know it. the motor works again. That was over a year ago.

I know im not the only one this has happened to. Its weird.. but taking them out and putting them back in makes them work again. Of course, they are still on the brink of failure if you ask me.. just a matter of time.
