Check the "94-95 GT/Cobra Specific FAQ Sheet Thread" at the top of the thread listings in this forum. It's in there.

Isn't that the same thing as what the link shows to do?

ya i did mine ..get a powerful toggle switchwith right amount of amp capacity..they like to get hot because of resistance...50 or 60 amp....then i mounted it in my cig lighter hole in front of my stick shift...remove the entire plastic mold to get behid it..it pops right out by squeezing the sides. I ran a wire from the power side out of the 60 amp fuse in the box under the hood, thru a boot on the fire wall under the dash and to the switch....out of the switch a snaked a return power line to the power feed to the fan...there are three wires that feed into it..unplug the plug at the fan and splice into the right wire i don't remember which one you'll have to put power to the different prongs on the fan to see which one works...be sure to get good connections at the switch and at the fan..it draws alot of power and resistance can surre heat things up

What gauge wire should be used?

Also, why is the one listed in our FAQ archive so different than in the link listed above? That one doesn't need to be connected to the power distribution box or nothing.

Indeed it does. Sorry I'm not too familiar with seeing the mod at a glance. I just got an aftermarket fan for mine and it saves on load power and runs high all the time.

Tap the ccrm pin #17 with a wire. Run that wire to a toggle switch. Run another wire to a ground and connect it to the toggle switch and you're all set.
