Fan Switch

Do I need a relay or not? I've heard that I do and I've heard that the CCRM acts as your relay. Whats the word?

i heard that you could just ground a certain pin on the ccrm, and the fan would stay on as long as the key was turned, i don't know if this is what you are trying to accomplish or what but i am thinking of doing this

I just ran a line from the large orange wire[bottom wire of three on plug going into fan] spliced into it ran it back to my lighter line in front of the shifter,go0t rid of the lighter and put in a two prong toggle,so that the power to the lighter would now got through the toggle to the fan...manual off on to the fan ..works so far.
