I was wondering about mods for a 2002 GT I might buy. What can I do to get the most bang for the buck? I want high to mid 12's and am wondering what I can do to get there quickly? Thanks.

Gears. By far, they give you the most bang for your buck. I suggest 4.10's. People say that they are far too big, but those people are just afarid to step up (unless they have a really big power adder ). DON'T FEAR THE GEAR!!!

probably the cheapest way to get a stock Gt to mid 12's would be supercharger.. 4 grand installed about.. otherwise you will make the mistake all of us made and put a hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there.. and now we can't afford a blower


Otherwise, my gears and magnaflow catted x were the most noticeable acceleration helpers

No, just get a 100 shot. Would be about $1,000 if you got everything new and got all the little accessories.

Should be in the 12s right away.

With gears, bolt ons, and DR's high 12's are possiable. My co-works 01 GT with 4.30's, bolt ons, and DR's ran a 12.9 last time at the track.

It's a mustang, nothings cheap, fast, and easy
gears, and loose some weight...(the car) ..power adder, drag radials are a good start(but it never ends....)

If you plan on running an S/C just buy bolt-ons now that are compatible with the S/C. LT headers, C&L intake plenum and Accufab TB, gears, etc.

Gears, midpipe, catback, headers, UD pullies, T/A, DR's, etc.

It all depends on what route you want to take...N/A or power adder.
