Well I've been absent from stangnet for about 2 years now thanks to school/moving, etc and I've been out of the ponycar world abit more than usual. I'm fixing to get rid of my '77 F-150 shortbed and I'm yanking a very stout 390 from it. It's stock bore, flattops, excessively p&p C8AE-H heads, .533 Crane Cam, Edel. intake, 670cfm carb, bla bla. Now my two '71 Mustangs have been setting in the yard for a couple years stripped of their powerplants. I have a C-6 tranny from an F-100 for FE(gotta get a stall) and I have the mighty FE. I was wondering what mounts, etc will be required for the swap. I know alot of its straight forward but the actual mounting of the engine is the main thing that I'm looking into right now. I can worry about adapting little odd-n-end stuff later. I'm assuming the regular C-6 mounts, etc will work for the FE tranny? All suspension and steering is new under the Grande right now aside from coils which will need the bigblock 620s anyways. And as usual thanks abunch for input.
