Hey, I was wondering what the preference around here is with fender emblems? The classic pony or the 2.3? I want to get some but not sure which would look better.

50resto.com has the 2.3 badges now, I think I'll get a pair when my car looks better.

I have 2.3 badges on my '86 Coupe and they look great. I got them from the Carlisle All Ford Nationals in PA. When I drop in the turbo motor it will look even better with the "Turbo" emblem under the 2.3

I got these way back in 94 when they brought them back on Mustangs. You can see mine on the following link
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/492429
You can get them straight from Ford, all you have to do is grind off the pins and stick them on. Whatever you choose, enjoy

Pony = Better Sleeper for those that do not want to have engine size known
2.3 w/o Turbo tag = Proud of your 2.3 sleeper
2.3 w/ Turbo tag = JUST PROUD!!!!!!!

They LOOK ricey? or do you FEEL ricey by putting Badges/Stickers on your car? If they look ricey do they look ricey on a 5.0?

BTW the badges from 5.0 Resto come seperatlly.

I too have been pondering the side art for my Stang, I love the Pony because that is a time less emblem but the 2.3 staring a losing car in the face can be just as PRICELESS. In the end when the project is complete I will decide but till then it is still a blank side.
