I know that either Mustang's Plus or Mustang Depot sells carbon fiber stuff, but you better be willing to open your wallet REALLY wide from what I recall. If you decide to do it, please let the rest of us know the quality of those high dollar pieces.

speaking of mustangs plus

I just had a bad experience with them. Shop that is doing my floorpans calls them up to see if they have brake line in stock, (my old one developed a pinhole from all the banging around they were doing) they do, and it's like twice what others are charging, but they say they have "a lot of them in stock." Nobody else locally has it in stock.

I need the part ASAP so I drive out there (80 miles away), walk up to the counter, ask for it, and you guessed it, they're out of stock. Now I know I should have placed the order and then will-called it, but they said they had a lot in stock. They guy I talked to said they must have sold it (the one they really did have) while I was on my way.
Anyway, kind of P.O.ed at them for their high prices and this fiasco. I ordered the brake line in stainless from NPD for like $45.95 and it's being delivered today. So at least I saved money. I want to support local businesses, but dey ain't that local and dey ain't cheap.

CF is 1/2 the weight (and twice the cost). Delta Bay is one place to get them (bottom of the page).

My next hood will be CF. I am sick of seeing the gel coat crack. I would be pissed if I had a paint job. For twice the price, it is supposed to be twice as strong too. Maybe I'll paint the car, and leave the hood unpainted because it looks cool.
