fiberglass repair kit?

So I am getting ready to paint my car (finally). The fiberglass hood got a corner dinged during removal/replace cycles in bodywork.

Please recommend a good fiberglass repair kit.

oooh, fiberglass is so fun to work with!!!!
if u like itchy skin and u don't mind yelling at the gooey mess in order to make it stop sticking to your gloves.

you can just buy some resin (which usually comes with hardener) and some cloth.
the resin you can find at a hardware/big box home improvement store
u can use the one with the picture of the corvette on it.
the cloth should be the kind that is woven together in a mesh, not the thicker, loose one.

or you could go to a surf shop (which are on every block where i live) and get a fiberglass repair kit for like ten bucks....it will come with everything u need.

it's all the same stuff......get resin.....get hardener.....get cloth......and enjoy.

corvette and repair kit in the same sentance...hee hee hee, but not surprised.

Thanks for the advice. Too bad their are no surf shops up here in the inland NW.

You should be able to find plenty of boat shops there though. They will have everthing you need.
