Fin (spoiler) replacement

I'm wondering what my options are to replace/remove the stock fin (spoiler). Would like to replace it with a duck tail. Any ideas?
Thanks

Fin?

As in a stock spoiler and you want to replace it with a ducktail?

Becareful when you take it off. Remove the nuts from the bottom of the spoiler inside your trunk. Then get a long, sharp razor blad and keep tracing around the bottom of where the spoiler mounts (between your decklid and your spoiler) - you have to cut off the 3m tape that is used to mount the spoiler.

Hah yeah spoiler is the correct term. Thanks for the info. Just checking if there are any easy options for changing it.

the cervinis ducktail spoiler uses the factory holes. the GEF racing LEGEND wing also uses the stock holes. just make sure you know which spoilers use the factory holes, otherwise you will have to have the holes filled and have the trunk repainted.

ROUSH spoiler will use the holes as well. CDC makes a spoiler delete kit for their ducktail which is a bracket system to cover up the factory holes.

To remove the 3m sticky stuff use wd40 in a couple of minutes it will break down the sticky and rub off with soft cloth. then wash with soap.

I heard that using fishing line will safely remove the 3m tape.

I got the ducktail from GEF Racing but would not recommend it. It did fit the factory spoiler holes but it took a lot of work to get it to fit right. It was no where near the same quality as the stuff I've received from Classic Design Concepts. If you're like me and you don't want the trunk repainted then I'd go with the Roush or wait. Maybe you can get one from ford for the Shelby? It looks very similar to the GEF Racing one.

As far as ducktails that cover the factory spoiler holes, 3D Carbon's is another option.

Yeah the 3D Carbon was the one I was looking at. There is a good thread at mustang forums as to which will cover the existing holes.
Thanks for all the info
