Its been awhile since I have been on here but I am trying to gather up all the stuff to put duels on my 2.3 na. I just picked up some new tail pipes off ebay and was thinking I would get some turbo mufflers. I was wanting yalls opinions on if it would be better to do 1 muffler with duel out or do 2 mufflers. I will probable loose the cat and I still have the stock manifold.

With the stock manifold I liked the sound of my single exhaust with single tailpipe.

After I went to duals (with two mufflers) I didn't like the sound until I put on a header.

I will probable hit up the junk yard and try to find me a ranger header. I just want to clean up my exhaust its pretty nasty. I still have not decided rather to go turbo or 5.0 but I do know I want duel pipes. I was thinking next i will probable make me a cai and maybe port out the tb.

I'm talking about a REAL header, not a ranger header.

Single muffler with dual outlets won't work on your stang...either single outlet or two mufflers. Take your pick.

I kinda figured the one muffler would not work and would have to go with 2.

One muffler/tailpipe set up works fine, take a look at my car on CarDomain to see what I did (EDIT: Link in sig). There's also an audio clip of it on YouTube.
