Looks nice! I'm interested in how the headers are designed at the motor... I LOVE the slip connections though, that would be very cool if the company could offer that sort of fitting on a production model.
As for getting rust spots off, go to HarborFreight.com (or if you have a local store) and buy yourself a handheld sand blast gun. I have a decent 50 gallon hopper setup from them, all for $30 bucks after warranty (free replacement lol)!! A lil handheld will work great though, especially for those little spots. The blasting media is actually more expensive than the blasters hah... Also, a wire wheel on an angle grinder will work, but sand is so much easier/faster.
