And Joe told me about BWR. I'm sorry to hear about that. Did they finish my buddy's turbo Mach 1? If I'm in Raleigh, I'll probably come out to PCM this weekend.

I think the car got half way done, my brother installed the newer engine, and started working on the up pipes to the turbo. Im not sure if hes continuing the work on that car @ pcm, btw the dyno day starts @ 9.

Yup, that should be more than enough to blow the back tires off.

hehe, yea, I somehow don't imagine my stock rear end/transmission is gonna like that too much....Although I'd bet that I would LOVE it.

Oh yea, I definitely agree. Which is why I said this:

Thanks guys. I don't know about picking on a whole lot of 5.0s....d98gt just went 12.5s on a stock one...I am close though

It's like when I beat that Kenne Bell Cobra several weeks back. I "beat" him, but would never consider my car, in any way, to be better than his.

I love the 5.0s. Matter of fact, I've pretty much decided to stop spending ANY more money on my car and just start saving for a new 5.0. By the time I graduate (~2 years), I should have a nice down payment saved up, and hopefully have a decent job where I can afford one. I just can't justify continuing to spend money on mine when I could just wait and save and then have a car that goes as fast as my current GT does in a straight line, but corners, brakes, rides, drives, and looks twice as good as my GT does.

I completly agree with you. I am going to look at a white 5.0 in two weeks It doesn"t have brembos but does have 3.73s. I hope I can hold myself back from trying to walk out of there with it because I need to sell my car first. They make stupid power with simply mods and people for some reason LOVE to hate the new cars. 400+ rwhp with o/r x pipe, cold air and a tune! Thats just plain stupid!

Have a tranny cooler on the car? You will be fine going with the upgrades

The 8.8 is a strong rear end so you won't have a problem there and most never see a problem with their 28 spline axles.
