I was a crew chief, AFSC 43171A -piston engine aircraft. After 3 years i went to night school and got my FAA Airframe & Powerplant which allowed me to work on civilian aircraft. The 4 years I spent in general aviation, I did a lot of electrical stuff because no one else could put batteries in a flashlight without making smoke. :D
