Well after i have replaced the motor, tranny and all other related parts i got rid of my vibration by removing the dogbone this afternoon. I also have a fms driveshaft on order. I just thought more people would like to know that this thing actually caused my car to vibrate after the gear swap and i fixed the vibration instantly by removing it. I noticed the difference as soon as i pulled out of the driveway

My FMS Aluminum Driveshaft removed a TON of vibration from my drivetrain. It felt like a different car. I've had my dog bone off for years.

No, it's just there to dampen vibrations from the stock gears. When you go with a lower gear you can remove it. I think your thinking of a driveshaft safety loop.

Believe me if that DS comes loose or breaks that Dog bone wont save anything, i advise any and all to get a DS loop, i learned the hard way about what damage a DS can do it wound up costing a total of about 500$ if i hadn't fixed everyting myself it woulda cost me around 1500$

Maybe I should get rid of my dogbone. I haven't noticed any vibrations from the driveline, though. Still about 8lbs or so that I don't need back there.
