I just think its sweet that you are running more hp and torque than most built 331 and 306's out there. And your running a mild combo.

Nice setup. And are you going with l/t's or shorties on this motor?

I have just Hooker shorty's on there.EGR is on passanger side.Hookers have a provision for it. As for the downs upper, it was on there when I bought the car.I thought about changing it out for a Trickflow unit or something. But it does not seem to be hurting me down low.I think my graph showed almost 340FT/lbs of torque at 2500rpm.But I am still thinking about changing it.Would just hate to change it and not gain anything or even lose some.I knew I would get a beating over the coil wire. I had it wraped around the coil it must of moved. Guess I should put the cover back over the distributer. Thanks for all the compliments. If weather holds up i am going to take it to the track this weekend.

Are you running any catalytic converters?

Those are some really nice numbers. I was almost ready to give up on my 351 until you told me about those hooker headers. Some people don't realize that there really is no replacement for displacement. That same combo on a 302 might not even break 300RWHP. I'm really impressed with how clean that motor looks in there, I hope mine turns out that nice.

Is your gt-40 lower ported in any way. Just curious, and sorry to revive an old thread again today.

No Lower is not ported. Would of liked to have ported it while it was off but $$$ is very tight right now.
