Finally got to the strip with my Drs and...

Wow! What a difference compared to my Bridgestones. Same size too, 275/40-17. These are Nittos btw. What seemed to work best for me was revving it up to 3k and basically dumping the clutch. Tires would bark, then grab and I was off. Best 60ft was 2.13, previous best was 2.23. Seems like the car hooks well, just cant get its fat (3664 lb with me) ass moving out of the hole quick enough. Looks like its time for some gears .

Times were pretty crappy actually, thats why I didnt put them in the post . All of them were in the 14.5-14.6 area. I did the morning session at Englishtown, so it was getting hotter and more humid as the day went on and my mphs were going down (all were between 94-95.5 mph). Im going again next friday for the night session, hopefully itll be cool out that night.

What do you guys suggest for better 60's? I tried riding the clutch out but that just bogged and got me a 2.2x. Best for me was dumping at 3k. Tires would bark and hook up, the car just doesnt have the power to go any faster out of the hole. I tried launching higher, but I just spin then. Im thinking 3.55s will help me out with my problem. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Forgot to mention, my best is 14.4x at 96.7 with a 2.24 60ft. But that was in late fall last year.

Well those sound like great ideas. Only this is my car is a lot less powerfull than yours striped and a lot heavier than yours slo . Sometimes I really wish I had just gotten a hardtop.
