Nitto DRs 275/40/17 vs ET Street's 26 x 10.5 x 16

Ok here is a deal, next year I have plan get new aftermarker wheels and put some street rubber,BUT for track I wanna get pair tires just for track
So I was thinkin' beween 275/40/17 Nitto DRs and 26 x 10.50 x 16 ET Street's
This year I had Nitto DRs 275's and I just find out how I can lowered 60ft (1.8 the best with bodl tires) and I think I can pull 1.7 or lower with good treads OR get some 16" GT rims and put ET Street's on them
This tires will me just for racing so I can use them much I want and I will have regular street tires on new rims
Price are same for both tires (around $160 for each tire)

BTW Paul (Killercanary) had best 60ft with ET Street's 1.66 and with Nitto DRs 1.67

So tell me guys what you think

I don't think Paul ever did a serious launch with his skinnies on the front and the ET streets on the back.

I bought some used Nittos.... and they will be replaced with ET Streets... I can't get the damn nittos to hook any better than my street tires. To me the Nittos work good on 15 rims where they have some sidewall to give. The 17's don't have much sidewall to keep the traction going.

ET Streets for me next year...

I have Nittos for the street and BFG's on the 16's for the track. The BFG are 255's and the Nittos are 315's and the BFG;s hook better. I would have gotten ET Streets but I havent upgraded anything in the driveline. This winter I plan on doing a DS loop, rebuilt trac-lok, and some 31 spline axles. Hopefully my t-5 holds up to some ET Street launches next year.

Well I have rebuild T-5 , FRPP alu. driveshaft , Eaton and Superior 31 spline axles, I think i'm good for some sticky tires
