Went to the track tonight and it was mid 50's out (coldest night of the year in florida it seems). First pass 2.261 60' 9.139@80.07 1/8mile 14.039@100.44 (new best mph and et also shifted about 4500 not knowing how 2nd was going to hook) 60' was 2.261. Second pass, 2.231 60' 9.076@80.17 1/8mile 13.970@100.53 finsh. So finally broke two personal bests tonight between ET and mph. Only change over last time is i'm running 89 octane over 92 or 93. Next up is still dr's and gears, raced a friend on my last pass and he heard 4th gear chirp (which I did too) just to give an idea on my need to new tires on a stock motored car.

Thanks guys, it was at Orlando Speed/Spin World. It was Packed tonight, a couple accidents and clean ups as usual, only 2 runs for me though. I couldn't believe it trapped 100 either, first time out in warm weather it went 97, second time it went 99 in cooler weather, now 100. I'm very pleased to say the least.

2nd gear no because it usually spins more if i do, 3rd yes, 4th on the 2nd run yes, i'm scared of 4th though because on my old mustang i pulled back into 2nd gear two different times so i still think about that if i try to powershift. I'll be the first to tell you i'm not by any means a great driver IMO, so i don't want anybody to htink i'm bragging.

Not only do i not understand the times, but i dont get how your shifting into 4th gear with stock gears...i go thru the traps at about 5500-5600 in 3rd gear...hmmm...you must be a pretty good driver to do that well, especially on street tires
