After being out of town for nearly a month on business trips, I am finally arriving home tomorrow!!! First thing I'm gonna do is take the CS out for a spin

I've been driving a PT Cruiser this past week as my rental and it's been driving me insane! Everytime you step on it, the car sounds like it's about to blow up!! LOL. The first car I had for two weeks was a Grand Prix and I thought that it was slow...but when I got into the PT Cruiser...oh man...it would make my old V6 feel like a Ferrari if I drove it after the PT Cruiser.

Everytime I go somewhere I come to appreciate my car more and more. Aaahh that v8 !!

Tell me about it. Just got my license back after 3 years. While I've been (very limited, mind you) driving mine (mostly at the track), it's nice to really let loose.

Since the Stang is so fun to drive, I haven't started my diesel Jetta in nearly two years (Nov 06) or ride my motorcycle much (only three times this summer!!!!!).

When I wrecked my 03, I'd been drinking. So I lost my license. Since I had an out of state license, no one could really tell me what to do to get it back, but the ones that gave me any info said I would have to have a hearing and pay a bunch of money (on top of all the fines and junk), and blah blah blah... I really didn't drive for about 2 years, but then I got my '07 and started driving. My work schedule doesn't allow me much time to get things done. So I was on disability last month and decided to go get it taken care of.

Gotcha ... Well, glad to have you back. I learned my lesson with that. Luckily, I didn't get in trouble, but I don't drink at all anymore. It's why I believe, everything happens for a reason.

Wait...aren't you the one that rips on everybody for street racing yet you've been driving around all this time with no license?

I'm not so sure why you guys are whining about closing the thread. No one had said anything to stir anything until you did HeavyGT ...

Lol no problem Heavy, it happens. I've been known to do that myself a time or two. I drove out of necessity, not choice. I didn't drive anywhere but to work and back. I even had someone drive my car to the track. Big difference between driving without a license (which is still illegal and I don't condone), and street racing, which puts lives at unnecessary risk. And I definitely am against drunk driving. I'm very lucky to have survived and will not get behind the wheel loaded again. It was a stupid mistake, and if my job wouldn't have been so difficult, and people would've been able to help me, I would've had my license back long ago. But that's over. 100% legal and loving every minute of it. I will say, however, that being that I was scared as heck of getting pulled over, I was probably the safest driver on the road lol. Anywho, heading to the track shortly. I'm just runing T&T, but Aimee's dad is going to run her car in trophy.
